Dieser Prozess ist f\u00fcr die Energieproduktion in der Sonne und anderen Sternen verantwortlich, wo extrem hohe Temperatur- und Druckbedingungen herrschen. <a class=\"PaperLink__paperLink___OLzbA\" tabindex=\"0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-uw-rm-kbnav=\"anohref\">(Syntelis &amp; Syntelis, o.D.)<\/a>Bei der Kernfusion m\u00fcssen die Kerne die elektrostatische Absto\u00dfung \u00fcberwinden, die durch positiv geladene Protonen verursacht wird. Dazu sind hohe Temperaturen erforderlich, typischerweise im Millionenbereich von Grad Celsius. <a class=\"PaperLink__paperLink___OLzbA\" tabindex=\"0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-uw-rm-kbnav=\"anohref\">(Blanas et al., 2022)<\/a>Die kontrollierte Kernfusion gilt als vielversprechende Energiequelle, da ihre Nebenprodukte im Vergleich zu herk\u00f6mmlichen Energiequellen weniger umweltsch\u00e4dlich sind. <a class=\"PaperLink__paperLink___OLzbA\" tabindex=\"0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-uw-rm-kbnav=\"anohref\">(Zissis, o. D.)<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Im Gegenteil, die <a href=\"https:\/\/nuclearenergy.gr\/de\/kernspaltung\/\"><strong>Kernspaltung<\/strong><\/a> ist der Prozess, bei dem ein schwererer Kern in zwei oder mehr leichtere Kerne gespalten wird, wobei Energie und Neutronen freigesetzt werden. Dieser Prozess wird h\u00e4ufig in Kernreaktoren zur Stromerzeugung eingesetzt. <a class=\"PaperLink__paperLink___OLzbA\" tabindex=\"0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-uw-rm-kbnav=\"anohref\">(Koutitsas, 2020)<\/a>Eine Kernspaltung kann spontan erfolgen oder durch den Aufprall von Neutronen auf schwerere Kerne wie Uran-235 oder Plutonium-239 verursacht werden. <a class=\"PaperLink__paperLink___OLzbA\" tabindex=\"0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-uw-rm-kbnav=\"anohref\">(Kortsalioudakis, o. J.)<\/a>Auch die durch die Kernspaltung freigesetzte Energie ist betr\u00e4chtlich, doch die Nebenprodukte, wie etwa radioaktive Abf\u00e4lle, sind gef\u00e4hrlicher und erfordern einen sorgf\u00e4ltigen Umgang. <a class=\"PaperLink__paperLink___OLzbA\" tabindex=\"0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-uw-rm-kbnav=\"anohref\">(Papamihail &amp; Papamihail, o. J.)<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Zusammenfassend liegen die Hauptunterschiede zwischen Kernfusion und Kernspaltung in der Art der beteiligten Kerne, den daf\u00fcr erforderlichen Bedingungen und den Umweltauswirkungen der Nebenprodukte. Die Fusion erfordert hohe Temperaturen und Dr\u00fccke, w\u00e4hrend die Kernspaltung unter milderen Bedingungen ablaufen kann.
