Un suministro el\u00e9ctrico fiable es fundamental para mantener la estabilidad de la red y cubrir la carga base.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"text-xl font-bold text-text-100 mt-1 -mb-0.5\">Larga vida \u00fatil de las instalaciones<\/h2>\n<p class=\"whitespace-normal\">Las centrales nucleares tienen una vida \u00fatil extremadamente larga, t\u00edpicamente entre 40 y 60 a\u00f1os, con potencial de ampliaci\u00f3n mediante mejoras y modernizaci\u00f3n. Los residuos de alta radiactividad siguen siendo peligrosos durante miles de a\u00f1os y requieren una gesti\u00f3n y un almacenamiento cuidadosos.<\/p>\n<p class=\"whitespace-normal\">Sin embargo, es importante se\u00f1alar que el volumen de residuos es extremadamente peque\u00f1o en comparaci\u00f3n con la cantidad de energ\u00eda producida.
