Cette technologie avanc\u00e9e est devenue l&#039;un des mod\u00e8les de r\u00e9acteurs les plus populaires au monde, avec des applications dans de nombreux pays.<\/p>\n<h2>Qu&#039;est-ce que le VVER-1200 ?<\/h2>\n<p>Le VVER-1200 (\u0412\u043e\u0434\u043e-\u0432\u043e\u0434\u044f\u043d\u043e\u0439 \u044d\u043d\u0435\u0440\u0433\u0435\u0442\u0438\u0447\u0435\u0441\u043a\u0438\u0439 \u0440\u0435\u0430\u043a\u0442\u043e\u0440 \u2013 R\u00e9acteur Energ\u00e9tique Eau-Eau) est un r\u00e9acteur \u00e0 eau pressuris\u00e9e (REP) de troisi\u00e8me g\u00e9n\u00e9ration con\u00e7u par la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 russe Rosatom. Avec une puissance de 1\u00a0200 MW, il repr\u00e9sente l&#039;\u00e9volution de la s\u00e9rie VVER, utilis\u00e9e depuis des d\u00e9cennies.<\/p>\n<p>Le nom VVER vient du russe et d\u00e9signe l&#039;utilisation de l&#039;eau comme fluide de refroidissement et mod\u00e9rateur de neutrons. Cette conception garantit un rendement et une fiabilit\u00e9 de fonctionnement \u00e9lev\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<h2>Sp\u00e9cifications techniques<\/h2>\n<p>Le VVER-1200 poss\u00e8de plusieurs caract\u00e9ristiques techniques avanc\u00e9es qui le classent parmi les r\u00e9acteurs modernes :<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00c9nergie thermique<\/strong>: 3200 MW <strong>\u00c9nergie \u00e9lectrique<\/strong>: 1200 MW <strong>Performance<\/strong>: Environ 37,5% <strong>Dur\u00e9e de vie<\/strong>: 60 ans avec possibilit\u00e9 d&#039;extension \u00e0 80 ans <strong>Facteur de charge<\/strong>:Au-dessus de 90%<\/p>\n<p>Le syst\u00e8me de refroidissement du r\u00e9acteur est compos\u00e9 de quatre boucles ind\u00e9pendantes, chacune \u00e9quip\u00e9e d&#039;une pompe de refroidissement principale et d&#039;un g\u00e9n\u00e9rateur de vapeur. Cette configuration garantit une grande fiabilit\u00e9 et la continuit\u00e9 de l&#039;exploitation m\u00eame en cas de d\u00e9faillance d&#039;une boucle.<\/p>\n<h2>Syst\u00e8mes de s\u00e9curit\u00e9<\/h2>\n<p>La s\u00e9curit\u00e9 est au c\u0153ur de la conception du VVER-1200. Le r\u00e9acteur int\u00e8gre plusieurs niveaux de protection\u00a0:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Syst\u00e8mes de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 passive<\/strong>:Ils fonctionnent automatiquement sans intervention humaine ni \u00e9nergie externe, en se basant sur des lois naturelles telles que la gravit\u00e9 et la circulation naturelle.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Housse de protection double<\/strong>:Le b\u00e2timent du r\u00e9acteur est entour\u00e9 de deux capots de protection ind\u00e9pendants, capables de r\u00e9sister m\u00eame \u00e0 un crash d&#039;avion.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Syst\u00e8me de sauvegarde quadruple<\/strong>:Tous les syst\u00e8mes critiques disposent de quatre lignes ind\u00e9pendantes, assurant le fonctionnement m\u00eame en cas de d\u00e9faillance de trois d&#039;entre elles.<\/p>\n<h2>Innovations et am\u00e9liorations<\/h2>\n<p>Par rapport aux g\u00e9n\u00e9rations pr\u00e9c\u00e9dentes de VVER, le VVER-1200 introduit des innovations significatives :<\/p>\n<p>Le syst\u00e8me de contr\u00f4le-commande (C&amp;C) repose sur une technologie num\u00e9rique, offrant une pr\u00e9cision et une fiabilit\u00e9 accrues. L&#039;utilisation d&#039;algorithmes avanc\u00e9s permet d&#039;optimiser le fonctionnement et de r\u00e9duire le risque d&#039;erreur humaine.<\/p>\n<p>Les assemblages combustibles ont \u00e9t\u00e9 am\u00e9lior\u00e9s gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 de nouveaux alliages et de nouvelles conceptions qui permettent une plus grande efficacit\u00e9 et des temps de s\u00e9jour du c\u0153ur plus longs. Cela r\u00e9duit la fr\u00e9quence de remplacement du combustible et les d\u00e9chets produits.<\/p>\n<h2>Avantages \u00e9conomiques<\/h2>\n<p>Le VVER-1200 offre des avantages \u00e9conomiques importants qui le rendent attractif pour les pays souhaitant d\u00e9velopper l&#039;\u00e9nergie nucl\u00e9aire :<\/p>\n<p>Le co\u00fbt de construction est comp\u00e9titif par rapport \u00e0 d&#039;autres r\u00e9acteurs de puissance similaire. La conception standardis\u00e9e permet des \u00e9conomies d&#039;\u00e9chelle et une r\u00e9duction des d\u00e9lais de construction.<\/p>\n<p>Les co\u00fbts d&#039;exploitation et de maintenance sont r\u00e9duits gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une fiabilit\u00e9 accrue et \u00e0 des intervalles plus espac\u00e9s entre les op\u00e9rations de maintenance majeure. Les ravitaillements programm\u00e9s durent moins de 30 jours.<\/p>\n<h2>Impact environnemental<\/h2>\n<p>D&#039;un point de vue environnemental, le VVER-1200 contribue significativement \u00e0 la r\u00e9duction des \u00e9missions de dioxyde de carbone. Une unit\u00e9 VVER-1200 peut produire environ 9 \u00e0 10 TWh d&#039;\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 par an, \u00e9vitant ainsi l&#039;\u00e9mission de millions de tonnes de CO2 qui r\u00e9sulterait d&#039;une production \u00e9quivalente \u00e0 partir de combustibles fossiles.<\/p>\n<p>Les d\u00e9chets radioactifs produits sont minimes et g\u00e9r\u00e9s selon des protocoles de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 stricts. L&#039;utilisation de combustibles am\u00e9lior\u00e9s r\u00e9duit encore davantage le volume de d\u00e9chets hautement radioactifs.<\/p>\n<h2>Application mondiale<\/h2>\n<p>Le VVER-1200 a \u00e9t\u00e9 s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9 par de nombreux pays pour d\u00e9velopper ou \u00e9tendre leurs programmes nucl\u00e9aires. Des projets majeurs sont en cours en Turquie (Akkuyu), en \u00c9gypte (El Dabaa), au Bangladesh (Rooppur) et en Finlande (Hanhikivi-1).<\/p>\n<p>En Russie, plusieurs r\u00e9acteurs VVER-1200 sont d\u00e9j\u00e0 en service, notamment Novovoronezh II-1 et II-2, qui sont les premiers r\u00e9acteurs commerciaux de ce type. Leur exploitation r\u00e9ussie a d\u00e9montr\u00e9 la fiabilit\u00e9 de la technologie.<\/p>\n<h2>D\u00e9fis et d\u00e9veloppements futurs<\/h2>\n<p>Malgr\u00e9 ses avantages, le VVER-1200 fait face \u00e0 certains d\u00e9fis. La d\u00e9pendance \u00e0 la technologie et au carburant russes pourrait constituer un frein pour certains pays, notamment compte tenu des \u00e9volutions g\u00e9opolitiques.<\/p>\n<p>Rosatom travaille \u00e0 de nouvelles am\u00e9liorations de conception, notamment au d\u00e9veloppement du VVER-1300, qui offrira une puissance accrue et un rendement encore sup\u00e9rieur. L&#039;entreprise \u00e9tudie \u00e9galement des moyens de r\u00e9duire sa d\u00e9pendance au combustible russe gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une production locale ou \u00e0 des partenariats internationaux.<\/p>\n<h2>Comparaison avec d&#039;autres technologies<\/h2>\n<p>Compar\u00e9 \u00e0 d&#039;autres r\u00e9acteurs modernes, tels que l&#039;AP1000 de Westinghouse ou l&#039;EPR d&#039;Areva, le VVER-1200 se distingue par sa conception relativement plus simple et ses co\u00fbts de construction r\u00e9duits.
